GELDİKLERİ GİBİ GİDECEKLER

Türklerin Kurtuluş Savaşı “Geldikleri Gibi Gidecekler” Söylemi İle Başlamıştır Ve Geldikleri Gibi Gittiler.!

GAZI MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATURK {[1881 – 1938]}

Komutan olarak tek bir askerini düşmana teslim etmemiş;

Ric'at halinde bile askerini bozguna uğratmamış;

Rakibini, dostunu, düşmanını hiç bir zaman aşağılamamış, küçümsememiş ve bundan dolayı 17 senelik bilfiil cephe hayatında tek bir yenilgiye uğramamış;

Birinci dünya savasının en son terfi eden en genç generali;

Kendisine verilen her görevi eksiksiz tamamlamış;

Vatan ve milleti için sıhhatini bile feda etmekten kaçınmamış, kendisine en yakin annesinden, hatta canından bile ustun tutmuş;

Şahsi menfaati olmaksızın sade vatani ve milleti için ihtilal yapan dünya tarihinin tek önderi;

20nci yüzyılın gidişatını değiştiren, Türk milletinin, tarihte The Rebirth of a Nation olarak bilinen, yeniden doğuşunu ve onu Anadolu toprakları üzerinde yasamasını sağlayan;

24 Temmuz 1923 Lausanne anlaşmasıyla ilk defa Doğu’nun karşısında Batı’nın başını eğdirten dünya tarihinin tek önderi;

Askeri ve bilhassa siyasi sahnede, birinci dünya harbinin çıkarttığı tek ve 20nci yüzyılın ilk önderi ve dünya tarihinin ender insani (Man of Enlightenment);

1453 ten beri bir gün bile harp yüzü görmeyen, hava hücumuna uğramamış, kalbimizdeki İstanbul’un ikinci ve son fatihi.

Asya kıta’sının kapısında Batı’nın Doğu’ya yayılmasını önleyen ilk lider

MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATURK İS CONSİDERED

A Brilliant Soldier, A Revolutionary Statesman, Creating A Nation And A Homeland.!

"I don't act for public opinion; I act for my nation and for her satisfaction.!" A brilliant soldier, a revolutionary statesman, creating a nation and a homeland.!

A man who joined his fate with destiny of his nation.

Emerging as a military hero at the Dardanelles in 1915, he became the charismatic leader of the Turkish national liberation struggle in 1919. As the undefeated commender in WW I he blazed across the world scene in the early 1920s as the triumphant commander who crushed the invaders of his country, leading his people in their struggle against the invading Greek forces and won back their independence. In 1923, on the ruins of the defunct Ottoman Empire, he founded and became the first president of the Republic of Turkey.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is considered a hero by many people of Turkish descent, and by many leaders around the world. He established democracy, under single party rule in Turkey, and created significant reforms in there. His policies championed public education in what had previously been a mostly illiterate country, extolled the virtues of Westernization, created reforms for women, and promoted peaceful relationships with Europe and America. Though he sometimes led the country in an autocratic way, he is still considered a fantastic leader. He earned the respect of people like General MacArthur, and has been honored by the United Nations, President Kennedy, Queen Elizabeth II, by such world statesmen as Lloyd George, Churchill, Roosevelt, Nehru, de Gaulle, Adenauer, Bourguiba, Nasser,  and countless other world leaders (past and present) as a true example of leadership, progressiveness, and social reform. A White House statement, issued on the occasion of "The Ataturk Centennial" in 1981, pays homage to him as "a great leader in times of war and peace". It is fitting that there should be high praise for Ataturk, an extraordinary leader of modern times.

Although Ataturk s vision of making Turkey a part of West was not fully realized, it is far from being a complete failure. There is no way and no use to compel the nation to return to the Ottoman time.because today Turkey, close to her 90th anniversary, founded in 1923, is significantly the oldest state uninterruptedly surviving  all the other states founded in the 20th century.

With the seeds of democracy he planted, the nation he cultivated, endured tribulations both from the inside and the outside for decades, some called him fashist, some called him communist and others called him dictator.

But  his people, disregarding what others said, called and is still calling him Ataturk, Father-Turk.
