But in the end, all eyes were on Paulina Vega, who beat out first runner-up Miss USA Nia Sanchez, as well as contestants from more than 80 other countries, at the Miss Universe Pageant on Jan. 25.
But not everyone was on board with Paulina’s big win. Fans went wild on Twitter and spoke out against the judges’ decision. It was Miss Jamaica who stole the show — or so they say.
When Miss Jamaica’s name was announced and it was revealed that she was no longer in the top five, boos were heard coming from the audience, not to mention from couches all over the country.

Kâinat Güzellik Yarışması bu yıl 63’üncü kez ABD’nin Miami kentinde düzenlendi. Yarışmayı Kolombiya’yı temsil eden Paulina Vega (22) kazanırken, yarışma jürisinin kararı salondaki izleyicilerden ve sosyal medyadan büyük tepki aldı.
Yarışma öncesinde favori olarak gösterilen Jamaikalı Kaci Fennell’ın (22) 5’inci sırada yer aldığının açıklanması izleyicilerin
ıslıklı protestosuna neden oldu.
